Common questions
How does payment work?
Projects are 50% to book and 50% at launch. Monthly services are billed on the 1st of each month, in advance.
Do I own my website and accounts?
Yes. Your domain, hosting, social accounts and final files are always in your name. Brackish is added as a user, never the owner.
What do you need from me?
Your text, photos and logins within 10 business days of starting. If those are late, the project pauses and picks back up at the next open slot.
Do you offer nonprofit pricing?
Our prices are set to be affordable for small nonprofits from the start, so everyone gets the same fair rate.
Do you work outside the Golden Isles?
Yes. Brackish is based in Brunswick and serves St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Sea Island and all of coastal Georgia in person, and works with clients anywhere over video calls.
What if I need something not listed here?
Extra work is $75 an hour, always quoted before it starts. If it’s outside what we do well, we’ll point you to someone who does.
